Earlier this year, Key Glock presented the masses with Glockoma 2, which is the sequel to his highly successful 2018 mixtape, Glockoma. As part of what appears to be the Memphis talent’s most recent effort, 15 tracks have been included, and production has been provided by Teddy Walton, Hitkidd, Aim On My Neck, JohnnyTurnItUp, and more. In terms of the Billboard 200 and the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts, the project reached the top 13 and no. 8 positions, respectively, on the charts.

As recently as Monday (May 22), fans were given the opportunity to check out a new video from Glockoma 2 on the track “Work,” in which Glock takes inspiration from the late Young Dolph when it comes to addressing the grind in the song.

A short clip that accompanies the song, titled “Work“, displays Key Glock rocking some fly threads while going about his daily tasks. There is a picture of him in a meeting with colleagues, performing in front of a packed crowd, and listening to his own music in the studio, to name a few.

In an interview with “Big Facts,” Key Glock spoke about the importance of distinguishing yourself from your colleagues during a recent sit-down with the talk show.

“I believe it is important to be different from everyone else,” he stated. It doesn’t matter what you do, what room you are in, or who is with you in the room, if you just be yourself no matter what. You do not have to adapt yourself, just be yourself.”
