The clock will strike midnight tonight (May 26) and Moneybagg Yo will unleash his new body of work under the moniker Hard To Love: Heartless Edition as soon as the clock has hit midnight. It was announced Wednesday (May 24) that Memphis’ Lenny George dropped off a visual in conjunction with the upcoming release of “Ocean Spray,” a song produced by DMacTooBangin that uses the title as an excuse to rap about fame, riches, and more.

A video accompanying the song allows you to watch Moneybagg Yo riding around Miami inside a bright purple Mercedes-Benz, directed by BenMarc. You can also catch a glimpse of him standing in front of a massive aquarium and a room full of money.

With Hard To Love: Heartless Edition arriving as part of the following year’s schedule, it will follow up a 22-song effort called A Gangsta’s Pain in 2021 in which the collaborators include Future, Kaash Paige, BIG30, Polo G, Lil Durk, Jhené Wiko, and Pharrell Williams. With 110,000 first-week album-equivalent units sold during the first week, Moneybagg Yo became the first artist in history with a No. 1 on the Billboard 200. A Gangsta’s Pain, released when the songs were first released, was soon followed up with a Reloaded version, in which fans were treated to additional cuts and collaborations with names such as Yung Bleu, DJ Khaled, EST Gee, and Lil Wayne.

There is no doubt that Moneybagg Yo will have a big place on the Collective Music Group roster even after joining Yo Gotti and the other performers. He should be thankful though, since the “Wockesha” rapper made prominent appearances on standout tracks throughout the compilation, like his performs “Rocky Road,” “Steppers,” “Top Dolla,” “See Wat I’m Sayin,” and “Strong.”
