A new music video has been released by Dave East for his track, “Feel Like,” which features Katt Rockell. In the emotionally charged track produced by Buda & Grandz, the Harlem emcee Dave East raps about the hustle and bustle of the streets, the importance of women in his life, and the stress of his mental health.
StreetHeat founder William Caballero has directed the accompanying clip, which shows Dave East delivering his rhymes from in front of what appears to be a mural of Nipsey Hussle in Los Angeles. Also, the rapper can also be seen visiting a barbershop and other locations within the town he calls home.
“Realing To” is taken from David’s latest album, Book of David (Deluxe), which was originally released alongside DJ Drama in 2022, when the album was first released. In total, the project is comprised of 26 dope tracks, plus additional contributions from artists such as Styles P, Derrick Milano, Millyz, B-Real, Berner, as well as the late Kiing Shooter. There weren’t too many months before Book of David was released, but before then fans were treated to an equally stellar album, HDIGH, which featured high profile collaborations with artists like Method Man, Musiq Soulchild, Anthony Hamilton, Benny The Butcher, Trae Tha Truth, and more.
Due to the steady stream of loose singles, including “Thiccer Than Water” produced by Uncle Murda, “Naughty,” and “Above Water” and featuring Young Chris, it is reasonable to expect a new album in the near future.
