This Tuesday (April 28th), Lola Brooke continues to make her fans happy with the release of her latest single, “Just Relax.” With the record, the Brooklyn emcee takes a walk down memory lane by making use of a snippet from Black Sheep’s “The Choice Is Yours,” and a music video directed by Shanghaii inspired by house parties. The song is an excellent example of her razor-sharp delivery that shows off her talent:
With a smash hit such as “Don’t Play With It” on the charts in 2022, Lola Brooke Reddy launched to the top of the music industry and kept her momentum going throughout the remainder of the year as she released the following tracks: “Gator Season,” “On My Mind,” “Here I Come,” and “Dummy Ummy.” Earlier this year, this “718 Princess” had announced that in collaboration with Team Eighty Productions she had signed to Arista Records. She recently enlisted the help of Latto and Yung Miami for what is known as the “Don’t Play With It (Remix).”
As we reported previously, the artist Lola Brooke also turned up on Latto’s “777 Radio” for an episode where she discussed how successful her breakout track had been and how she would carry on the momentum. “When I heard it, it was as if I had a feeling inside my body, as if it were legit hard. Basically, I had a feeling, but I wasn’t sure what kind of feeling I had at the moment,” Brooke replied as he answered the question. “First of all, when I heard the sound, I thought it was going to be a city record. Then I was like, ‘This is cool, I don’t care what the city thinks about this,’ and then that was it. Although I do not think it will leave New York City, she said that she does not believe it will leave the city.
