In a new collaboration, will.i.am and Lil Wayne team up to create a banging new track called “THE FORMULA.” As will.i.am and Keith Harris combine their rave-ready production to make the song, the Black Eyed Peas frontman and the legend Lil Wayne also managed to fill up the verses with boastful references about their performances as a whole.
Will.i.am’s fourth studio LP, #willpower, was released on August 9, 2009, marking 10 years since its release. #willpower, accompanied by a deluxe version, contained 18 songs as well as additional appearances from a variety of artists including Justin Bieber, Skylar Grey, Britney Spears, Chris Brown, Afrojack, Juicy J, Miley Cyrus, and more. As a result of this and the support and ideas of BEP members apl.de.ap and Taboo, he created two successful projects: Translation, Masters of the Sun Vol. 1, and Elevation. In addition to the above cuts, will.i.am also gave fans some dope cuts like “Boys & Girls” featuring Pia Mia, “It’s My Birthday” featuring Cody Wise, “AMERICAN DREAM,” and “FIYAH.”
As a featured artist, Lil Wayne has continued to be busy over the past year, appearing on tracks such as YG “Miss My Dawgs,” Machine Gun Kelly “ay!,” Conway The Machine “Tear Gas,” Jack Harlow “Poison,” Latto “Sunshine,” JID “Just In Time,” Chris Brown “Possessive,” and DJ Khaled “GOD DID.” Currently, the Young Money legend is working on I Am Not a Human Being III, Tha Carter VI, and ColleGrove 2 with 2 Chainz.
