On October 20, 2022, Coco Jones officially released her highly anticipated debut EP back in the year 2022. The group of works introduced in this exhibition is titled What I Didn’t Tell You, and it functions as a catalyst for sharing “everything about the stories that happen off-camera, as well as to give an insight into the characters”. Furthermore, she has enhanced the album with an official deluxe upgrade, in which she has added new records such as “Put You On,” “Plan B,” “Fallin’,” and “Simple,” a collaboration with Babyface on his Girls Night Out project which was released last month.
In honor of the release today of the new musical offering as part of the album, the R&B “It Girl” still leads the way with the official music video for her single “Double Back.” For this seductive video, Coco Jones takes over the office and turns things around around her lover and ends up finding out the ugly truth about him. As she sings this song, she uses a sample of “Rain” by SWV as her backing track:
Aside from the news above, it might interest you to know that the Nashville-bred musician recently landed her first position on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. As you may or may not know, the single “ICU” debuted at No. 88 on the chart in March, and it has continued to climb ever since, and it is set to continue climbing throughout this summer. As a result of Coco Jones’ performance of the chart-topping single on a number of famous shows, including the 2022 BET Soul Train Awards, “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” “The Jennifer Hudson Show,” and a lot more, the song mushroomed in popularity.
