Taking advantage of the stoners’ holiday, Snoop Dogg and Bebe Rexha released a new single Thursday (April 20) called “Satellite,” which was produced by Joe Janiak and features the pop-rapping duo enjoying a smoke while on the track.

It begins with a matching visual for “Satellite” that depicts the artists engaged in a conversation in a groovy setting that matches the music. Snoop guides his collaborator Chea Rexha into a ship shaped like a cannabis leaf that’s powered by actual buds of marijuana and that’s shaped like an eagle that flies in outer space following a request from Rexha. The entire sequence evokes the nostalgia of the old cartoon series “The Jetsons.”

“Satellite” appears on Rexha’s forthcoming third studio album, Bebe. The album is said to be a nostalgic exercise that draws influences from a variety of artists including Fleetwood Mac and Diana Ross and . The 12-song collection will feature appearances from Snoop Dogg, David Guetta, and Dolly Parton, among others. Meanwhile, Snoop Dogg is working on the next album of his, Missionary, which will feature the legendary Dr. Dre as the producer of the album. A couple of years before Christmas 2022, the Long Beach legend teamed up with seasoned veterans like Ice Cube, E-40, and Too $hort in order to deliver their official debut as Mount Westmore in an aptly titled album entitled Snoop Cube 40$hort.
