It is almost time for NBA YoungBoy to drop his next project, and he is revving up his engine once again to get things going. The rapper returns today (April 7), when he unleashes his latest single, “WTF,” which features an appearance by Nicki Minaj. As part of the project, NBA YoungBoy has released a new single that is another preview of the upcoming album, Don’t Try This At Home, which should arrive sometime this spring.

A total of 33 songs will be included in the album, the first three of which are entitled: “Murder Man,” “NEXT,” and “Demon Party.” The official cover art was also revealed by YoungBoy in March, which shows NBA YoungBoy perched upon the roof of the F.G Clark Activity Center in Baton Rouge, which is home to the Jaguars basketball team of Southern University.

“WTF” marks the third time in a row that the pair will be working together. As for the first track, it was 2020’s “What That Speed Bout! ” was created by Mike WiLL and reached a peak of number 35 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for the following year. The next track was “I Admit,” one of the best tracks on YoungBoy’s 2022 Ma’ I Got A Family album, which was produced by DJ Drama.

The Baton Rouge native made the announcement back in October of 2022 that he had officially signed a contract with Motown Records as part of a deal. In August of that year, Slimeto released his final album under Atlantic Records, the label he had left after many years. According to the Billboard 200 chart, the project debuted at No. 2 and included features such as Rod Wave Kehlani, and Quavo. There has been plenty of other projects dropped by him throughout the past year alone, including five mixtapes and two additional studio albums, in addition to his album from last year.

As it turns out, it’s been four years since Minaj released Queen, which originally boasted a total of 19 songs and featured contributions from the likes of Eminem, Labrinth, Swae Lee, Ariana Grande, Future, Foxy Brown, The Weeknd, and Lil Wayne. As a result, she has been involved in countless dope collaborations over the years, including “We Go Up” featuring Fivio Foreign, “Blick Blick” featuring Coi Leray, and “Bussin” featuring Lil Baby.
