“Let’s Talk About It” features Queen Naija addressing the issues

Queen Naija‘ has officially entered a new phase in her life. It was announced last week that the Detroit-raised singer would release “Let’s Talk About It” today (Jan. 6), her first single since last February’s “Hate Our Love” collaboration with Big Sean. Over the moody instrumental provided by OAK, Queen Naija speaks about some issues she had in the past with a previous lover:

Keeping my finger on the pulse of what’s going on at midnight, I decided that I wanted to write this song to celebrate all the do-gooders and raise-ups who always have something to say about what women should do, but don’t even have their act together,” writes the “Medicine” singer on Instagram. “I want each and every one of you to come tonight! I need all the women to point their fingers at the male temples tonight! Tonight, It would be helpful if you could share all the lip-syncing, neck-rolling stories with me. As a matter of fact, I am reposting it. It’s time to show off.”

Queen Naija last full-length album, Misunderstood, released in 2020, featured 18 tracks and contributions from the following artists: Pretty Vee, Russ, Jacquees, Toosii, Kiana Ledé, Latto, Lucky Daye, and more. In addition to charting at No. It was also the No. 1 album on the R&B chart, and the album also placed in the top 10 on the Billboard 200 chart. There were several fan favorites on the album, including “Butterflies Pt. 2” and the single that was certified gold, “Pack Lite.”
