Conway The Machine released WON’T HE DO IT earlier this month, which includes 14 tracks as well as guest appearances by Juicy J, Westside Gunn, Dave East, Benny The Butcher, Fabolous, and more. A visit to Funk Flex was made by the Buffalo rapper last Friday (May 12) as part of his promotional tour. It was as expected that the Griselda alum treated fans to a dope freestyle.
WON’T HE DO IT was produced in great part by Daringer, a longtime collaborator. According to an interview with “Studio Sessions,” Conway The Machine discussed the recording process in detail.
“Because we’re constantly scrambling and doing everything separately, we don’t have time to work together all the time,” Conway The Machine confessed. “Usually, he will send a batch [of beats] to me or he will come through to play you some beats, but he’s usually not that prolific. You do not really have to tell Daringer anything at all, because he listens to everything you say. As far as he is concerned, he knows exactly what he is doing. He is an expert when it comes to that stuff. All you have to do is pick what you want to vibe to.”
