Before the month of March arrived, many of us were intrigued by the season finale of HBO “Euphoria,” featuring Maude Apatow, Zendaya, Angus Cloud, Alexa Demie, Eric Dane, and more as high school students who experience what can be considered extreme. The show has been accompanied by some exceptional music, much of it produced or performed by Labrinth. So far this season, the show has been accompanied by “Watercolor Eyes” by Lana Del Rey, “How Long” featuring Tove Lo, “(Pick Me Up) Euphoria” performed by James Blake, “Sad4Whattt” featuring EricDoa, and “Yeh I Fuckin’ Did it.”
Earlier this month, fans were able to hear “I’m Tired,” a song by Zendaya and Labrinth that had been released without the latter artist at the start of February. A song about struggling to remain afloat in the face of darkness, “I’m Tired” features Zendaya’s drug addict character Rue harmonizing:
For those of you who know Zendaya, they know she has a long history of collaborating with musicians. She previously collaborated with Labrinth on “All Of Us,” which appears on his 2019 album Imagination & the Misfit Kid. Previously, she released her eponymous debut album in 2013, which came with 11 tracks including well-received singles like “My Baby” and “Replay,” which became a remix featuring Bobby Brackins, Ty Dolla $ign, and IAMSU! As of now, Zendaya has worked with Zac Efron and Chris Brown on “Something New,” “Rewrite The Stars” and respectively.
