Earlier this week, Lou Phelps collaborated with songstress Joyce Wrice and Oakland rapper Guapdad 4000 on the experimental track, “Oh Really?.” That track was produced by Agajon, with additional keyboards performed by Kiefer. “Oh Really?” showcases the talents of each artist, beginning with Joyce’s sweet vocals and bass strums before Phelps and Guapdad make their presence felt:
“Oh Really?” is Lou Phelps first release since he released “SOUND OF MONEY” and “Supersex Freestyle,” which was produced by Madlib. Earlier this year, Phelps released his mixtape EXTRA EXTRA!, which includes some of his fan-favorite tracks including a“NIKE SHOE BOX” and “MUST BE” created by Kaytranada.
The debut project of Joyce Wrice was Overgrown last year. Produced by D’Mile, a nominated producer for the Golden Globe Award in 2021 and the GRAMMY Award winner for “Song of the Year” in 2021. There are well-received singles such as “Falling in Love” and “So So Sick,” which were recently included on Lucky Daye’s Table For Two EP. The 14-track project features contributions from Freddie Gibbs, Masego, UMI, Westside Gunn, Kaytranada, and Devin Morrison to create a truly memorable experience.
