Bobby Shmurda has officially returned. Since the Brooklyn rapper was released from prison in February, the world has been waiting patiently for a new single from him. The street has been kept fed in the meantime by Rowdy Rebel – and one can’t help but be happy for Bobby, who is re-connecting with his peers and living his life. In addition to this, he supported Rebel’s run in “The Crew League” along with his Shhh Gang squad. Bobby premiered a new song at Rolling Loud Festival this past weekend, which further raised hopes of a new album coming soon.
In Tommy’s return to wax, he jumps on a remix of Eladio Carrión and J Balvin’s “Tata.” The remix includes a verse from Reggaeton legend Daddy Yankee. Also, he doesn’t disappoint, delivering cutting-edge bars on Are The Giant, Andre The Giant, and Hide Miyabi drill productions about his current lifestyle:
Carrión’s original version of “Tata” is taken from Monarca, his January release that saw 14 cuts featuring contributions from Lunay, Yandel, Corina Smith, Noriel, Natanael Cano, and many more. With well over seven million streams generated following its release, the Kansas-to-Puerto Rico project landed the artist on Billboard’s Latin Rhythm Albums chart (no. 8).
