It has been announced that Belly will release Mumble Rap 2 on May 19, the follow-up to Mumble Rap which was released in 2017. It is anticipated that additional contributions will be made by such artists as the late Gil Scott-Heron, NAV, Rick Ross, Gucci Mane, and Hit-Boy among others, the last of which was a backing vocalist for the Canadian star on the lead single “American Nightmare.”

In a new track released Friday (May 5), Belly drops, titled “Ambiance,” which was produced by The ANMLS, and where he delivers a series of honest raps on his drug-induced lifestyle, which has been a huge inspiration for many rappers over the years.

“Imbiance” is accompanied by a matching video created by Darren Craig which shows Belly being chauffeured around in a vintage Chevrolet as he paces around the streets in an old-school car. At the end of the clip we can see that he has taken over the ride and the original driver is bound and gagged in the backseat, unable to drive.

It was back in 2021 when Belly released his third studio album, See You Next Wednesday, which contained 15 songs and was cut with contributions from artists such as Benny The Butcher, Young Thug, The Weeknd, Moneybagg Yo, Gunna, Lil Uzi Vert, Nas, and more. Earlier this year, he released the critically acclaimed album Immigrant, which was released to acclaim.
