Yellow Tape 2 was reissued by Key Glock a few months ago in deluxe form. Ten updated tracks have been added to the newly published edition of the well-received body of work. From there, he has treated fans to visuals from his previous projects, including “Pain Killers,” “No Choice,” “Grammys,” and even a live performance of “Ambition For Cash.”
A new soundtrack by Glock drops today (June 16) in the form of “712AM,” a video that features the Memphis artist’s take on Future “712PM.” The track features a hard-hitting beat from Wheezy and TM88, and Glock puts his own spin on the I NEVER LIKED YOU classic:
The original Yellow Tape 2 was released last November, featuring 20 hard-hitting tracks and nothing but features. Young Dolph, his business partner, frequent collaborator, and literal family member, was shot and killed in Memphis during the same month, so he could not take a lot of time to celebrate the album’s success. Afterwards, Paper Route’s “Proud” was released, a moving tribute to Dolph that saw him discuss his loss with complete honesty.
