The rapper promised his fans last month that he would release more music more consistently. Furthermore, he announced that his Strictly4MyFans EP will be released soon and soon after, he released “Lavish Freestyle”. He’s back with another installment this week as promised, this time with “Goin Up”. “Goin Up” finds Lil Tjay stretching out over Chopsquad DJ production, complete with a fresh new video:
Lil Tjay has been in the spotlight for his sophomore studio LP Destined 2 Win. Which features 21 tracks and includes features from 6LACK, Polo G, Fivio Foreign, Tyga, Saweetie, Toosii, Offset, and Moneybagg Yo. With regards to charts throughout the globe, this album ranks as his best to date. It also rose to the top five of the Billboard 200 after selling 62,000 album equivalent units during the first week following its release.
Throughout the course of the year, the NYC rapper released several loose cuts such as the heartfelt “Forever In My Heart,” “Not In The Mood” by Fivio Foreign and Kay Flock, and “Christmas In A Cell.” Of course, the “Calling My Phone” rapper contributed harmonies to Tee Grizzley, Jay Critch, G Herbo, Bas, YNW Melly, Pop Smoke, French Montana, Joyner Lucas, Polo G, and Nafe Smallz.
