While he’s dealing with legal issues, Gunna’s not stopping his music. The Atlanta native shares a brand new video for “Banking On Me,” which originally dropped on Valentine’s Day. Produced by Peter Lee Johnson and Metro Boomin, the video features Gunna describing his relationship with his significant other in real time:
In the accompanying clip, Gunna is filmed conversing in his car with his love interest. Following this, the video cuts to shots of Gunna in his home studio recording the song, followed by shots of Gunna interacting with various women in Los Angeles, New York, and Miami.
Young Thug, Gunna, and others from Young Stoner Life were also arrested last month after being accused of RICO charges in Atlanta. An open letter Gunna provided to his fans addressing his current situation was provided in a previous interview:
For now, I cannot exercise my freedom. Despite this, I remain innocent. False accusations are being leveled at me, and I will never give up my fight to clear my name! What has been painted is an ugly and false portrait of me. I love to listen to music, travel, celebrate life, listen to family and friends, and I love my fans. The gospel reminds me of all these things. As long as I remain pure in heart and act innocently, I am certain that God will reward me for my actions.”
