This morning (September 9), Young Stoner Life artist, Strick releases “Moon Man”, featuring Kid Cudi and the founder of the label himself, Young Thug. Cudder’s well-loved nickname appears in the track, so it makes complete sense that the trio would work together to produce a video fit for the song. Strick opens the track with a verse before the three take off for their adventure:
You may recall that Young Thug and his Young Stoner Life collective launched the Slime Language series in April, which included 23 tracks and appearances from artists such as Lil Baby, Travis Scott, NAV, Rowdy Rebel, Yung Bleu, Drake, Lil Uzi Vert, Big Sean, Coi Leray, Skepta, Kid Cudi, and Future. As soon as the month was over, the staff returned and completed a deluxe version.
Strack’s upcoming album, Strickland, will also feature contributions from Ty Dolla $ign, Swae Lee, Gunna, Young Thugand more. Skepta’s recent song “WokStar” appears on Slime Language 2 as well as “Moon Man”. Furthermore, Strick will collaborate with Ty Dolla $ign and Young Thug in 2020 for summer anthem “Yacht Club.”
As far as Cudi himself is concerned, he has also been in the news for his appearances on recent albums, such as Pop Smoke’s posthumous Faith and Drake’s Certified Lover Boy album.
